The Accu-Chek Instant meter uses Accu-Chek Instant strips to monitor blood glucose. It is not intended to diagnose diabetes. Its instructions explain setup, testing and when a control test is needed.
Understanding the colours
- Blue: the result is above the target range.
- Green: the result is within the target range.
- Red: the result is below the target range.
Discuss your target range and response to results with your healthcare professional. A colour alone is not an instruction to change insulin doses or food intake.
Strips and connectivity
Use only compatible Instant strips and follow the storage conditions on the vial. The meter has Bluetooth connectivity; check the version and app compatibility before setup. mySugr is not the same app as SmartGuide.
