Continuous glucose monitoring for up to 21 days
Connect 21 CGM is a continuous interstitial glucose monitoring sensor manufactured by Teljane Medical Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. It uses the Teljane Instara-1 / TX-series platform and is marketed in Europe under the Connect 21 CGM name.
A single application provides automatic readings every 5 minutes, day and night, for up to 21 days. The sensor is factory calibrated and does not require routine manual calibration.
Readings, trends and alerts on your phone
The sensor sends data via Bluetooth to the Connect 21 CGM app. You can view current glucose and trend direction, set high and low alerts, log meals, exercise and medication, and generate reports to discuss with your healthcare professional.
- 288 readings per day: one value every 5 minutes;
- fast warm-up: approximately 15 minutes after pairing;
- useful reports: trends, Time in Range and exportable AGP reports;
- remote sharing: data and reports can be shared with family, caregivers or healthcare professionals.
Clinical accuracy in a discreet format
The manufacturer reports an 8.2% MARD. The sensor is only 4.5 mm thick, uses hypoallergenic adhesive and is designed for comfortable, discreet wear on the back of the upper arm.
Its IP58 rating supports normal daily use within the limits stated in the instructions for use. Clean the application site with alcohol and allow it to dry completely before applying the sensor.
How to apply Connect 21 CGM
Assemble the sensor in the applicator, position it on the prepared area of the arm and press the release button firmly. After registering in the app and pairing the device, readings begin following the warm-up period.

Important information
CGM measures glucose in interstitial fluid, while a blood glucose meter measures capillary blood glucose. A physiological lag of 5–15 minutes may occur, especially during rapid rises or falls. If a reading does not match your symptoms, check with a blood glucose meter and seek professional medical advice.
Remove the device before CT, X-ray or MRI examinations. Use it only according to the manufacturer's instructions and do not change insulin, medication, diet or treatment solely on the basis of this page.
